Final Magazine
This is my Issuu publication of my final magazine, although I am not too sure why the colours of my contents title have been changed in the processing as it has gone from a black to white gradient to appearing as only black in this publication.

Production Log - Monday 30th March
Today I acted upon feedback given to me by my teacher, for example I removed the bevel and emboss from my contents page where I have created a black box that says '@rhythmik', in doing so I think that it has made my contents page look more consistent as all of my boxes had a 'clean' look to it without any effects. therefore by getting rid of these effects makes the page look neater and more professional.
On top of this, I have made my main image on my front cover much larger to draw significant attention from my target audience to my front cover, moreover I have placed the main image in front of my title so that you a few letters of the title are covered by the image. This highlights that my magazine is an already well known brand and therefore can afford to do so, as consumers will already recognise the magazine without needing to explicitly state 'rhythmik'.

Equipment
I used the program in-design to create my entire magazine, I
also used Photoshop to edit the images I took of my models, I used Photoshop to
do things such as change the colouring of the photos to make them more vibrant
and eye-catching to fit in with the ethos of my magazine. Another piece of
equipment I used was the camera to capture different types of shots of my
models such as long shots, mid shots, high view shots and close ups. In order
to take these pictures I used lighting to illuminate my model, creating a high quality
picture to be used in my magazine – I had to manipulate the lighting according
to the position of my models in order to make sure that the picture would come
out in the clearest format and not have the appearance of being ‘washed out’. I
also used the plain white backdrop to take these images in front of in order to
make the model the main focus of the picture, however different backgrounds can
be used to create a more edgy RnB look to suit my magazine genre.

Promotional Methods
Script:
The use of my target audience using the hash
tag of my magazine name
on social media such as twitter and Instagram can be used to promote the
magazine and therefore enticing a larger audience as the magazine grows more
popular.
Moreover there could be a feature section in my magazine
in which tweets
from readers are showcased on a page, these could include positive remarks from the
audience towards the magazine, helping to hold a positive view of the magazine.
This will also allow the audience to feel involved in the magazine.
Competitions can be used to keep
readers buying the magazine, if there is a competition in each issue of the
magazine, readers will be more likely to buy the magazine if they have a chance
to win a prize that appeals to them.
Aspects such as a continuous story/article in my magazine could
be an element which causes my primary target audience to keep purchasing the
magazine, for example a paragraph of the story/article could be in each issue
and readers have to buy each issue to understand and know what happens next. This
ensures loyalty from customers as it is leaving them on a cliff hanger and
wanting more.
Deals can be used such as when customers buy 6 issues of the
magazine they can use a code to get the 7th free, giving readers
something back to show our appreciation in their loyalty.
When someone buys a subscription to our magazine they
could obtain vouchers or discount codes to particular things that my primary target audience
would enjoy, such as clothing/music shops. This
makes buying a subscription even more appealing to customers as there are more
benefits for them to enjoy.
These are the ways in which I could promote my magazine to widen my audience and therefore increase sales of my magazine, moreover there are various factors which provide incentives for readers to be loyal to the magazine and continue to buy newer issues in the future.
Social Media
Social media provides a great opportunity to promote my magazine as it is used significantly by those between the ages of 15-21 which is my primary target audience. This presentation discusses the way I will use the social media platforms of Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and Facebook in order to appeal to a mass audience.
Image Ideas
This collection of photos and exemplar images used on front covers has helped me to have a further understanding of the conventions that I should acquire to when taking photographs of my feature model.
