Equipment

I used the program in-design to create my entire magazine, I also used Photoshop to edit the images I took of my models, I used Photoshop to do things such as change the colouring of the photos to make them more vibrant and eye-catching to fit in with the ethos of my magazine. Another piece of equipment I used was the camera to capture different types of shots of my models such as long shots, mid shots, high view shots and close ups. In order to take these pictures I used lighting to illuminate my model, creating a high quality picture to be used in my magazine – I had to manipulate the lighting according to the position of my models in order to make sure that the picture would come out in the clearest format and not have the appearance of being ‘washed out’. I also used the plain white backdrop to take these images in front of in order to make the model the main focus of the picture, however different backgrounds can be used to create a more edgy RnB look to suit my magazine genre.

Box Out Text

 

This is the box out text that I have created on InDesign for my magazine. "Im taking it back to basics" and "Jasmine discusses all" will appear on my double page spread to entice readers into my article, increasing interest and enjoyablity of readers. "Never forget who you are - jasmine one" will appear largely on my quote page to display the ethos and branding of my feature artist.
